Abbiamo visto nelle patch note del PTR 4.1 che ora anche i Death Knight saranno provvisti di Combat Res. Si sapeva già in passato che tale destino sarebbe toccato anche ai warlock, ma ora ne abbiamo la conferma.

Nei nostri piani c'è ancora quello di permettere l'utilizzo della Soulstone su target morti, dando così un combat resurrection anche al warlock. Tuttavia, differentemente dai Death Knight, il cambiamento al Warlock richiede l'aggiunta di nuovo codice. Ci aspettiamo che questo cambiamento avvenga nella 4.1, ma vi terremo aggiornati.
Avere parecchie abilità uniche e potenti non è sempre compatibile con l'avere dei raid da 10 giocatori. Non pensiamo che raid più piccoli necessitino di ogni buff possibile o abilità difensiva, ma siamo convinti che il combat res renda più svantaggiati i gruppi privi di druidi. Spesso è soggettivo il giudicare quali siano gli strumenti obbligatori per il raid. Per noi, il combat res è diventato uno di questi. Our plan is still to let Soulstones be used on dead targets, effectively giving warlocks a combat resurrection as well. Unlike the death knight one, which was a relatively straight forward change, the warlock one requires new code. We still plan on making this change for 4.1, but we will keep you updated.
Having lots of unique and powerful abilities is not always compatible with having 10-player raids. We don’t think the smaller raid needs every possible buff or defensive ability to be successful, but we were convinced that the combat rez made groups without a druid at a significant disadvantage. It’s often subjective as to what constitutes mandatory raid tools. In our minds, combat rez has become one.
