Unofficial Changes and news - BW2 to BW3 WRITTEN BY ZAEL from GuildSource
Mesmers:
Phantasms health increased
Downed Skill 2: Deception – Create a downed clone of yourself.
Phantasmal Rogue: Uses backstab now.
Elementalist:
Now has Whirlpool elite skill in the waterz, sucks in enemies on a pulse and pulses high damage
Necromancer
Life Transfer now lets you move while using it.
DOWNED: Fear is now downed skill #2
Engineer:
Explosive Shot – Doesn't bleed on AoE, just the collision. Radius increased.
Glue Shot: Immobilizes then cripples
Rifle:
Rifle Overcharged shot now removes cripple, immobilize, and chill
Hip Shots now pierce (continue through the target and do half damage to subsequent hits)
Tool kit buffed
Mine kit is no longer a kit, just a gadget. Was a kit with 5 mines. Now is a Gadget with 1 mine, 18s CD, HAS A KNOCKBACK. Mines now removes 1 boon from enemies without having to be upgraded by traits. Toolbelt skill is 5 tiny mines, detonatable, that only damage enemies.
Bomb kit
Glue bomb now immobilizes then cripples rather than immobilizes every pulse
Smoke bomb damage removed
Grenade Kit
Now throws 2 grenades up from 1, traited 50% to throw third.
Tranq Gun
Dart now applies bleed
Fumigate pulses 5 times for 5x 5s poison and 5x 8s vulnerability. Each pulse removes a condition.
Flame Thrower
Backdraft is now Vent Smoke (PBAOE blind)
Rocket kick toolbelt now moves to your target, gadget now removes movement impairing conditions
Med Kit
Drop bandage cooldown reduced
Elites
I believe Elixer X now only chooses between rampage and Tornado
Mortar gives stability while using the weapon
Warrior:
Cyclone Axe can be used while moving
Frenzy now makes you receive 50% more damage while the skill is up
Thief:
Stealing from a player in PvP will give 1 of 2 abilities
Elite: Dagger Storm: Halved the distance that it throws daggers, but double the duration
DOWNED change: 2) Shadow escape: Teleport to target location, 3) Drop a smoke bomb and vanish in Stealth
Guardian:
Whirling Wrath slows you but can be used on the move.
Some range increases, healing nerfs
Staff's Martyr is now Empower, channel might to yourself and allies and then heal at the end of the duration
Utility skill Save Yourself now is the same as Martyr used to be
Hammer of Wisdom: Now a 3-chain combo that ends in a knockback (rediculous btw)
Elite skill Tombs, no longer immobilizes you for the duration. You can run around with a tomb!
Renewed focus (Elite) CD reduced in half to 90 seconds. Almost seems viable now
Ranger
Greatsword nerfs, slight Longbow nerfs
Pets are working better
Signet passives buffed generally across the board
LOTS OF TRAIT CHANGES for every profession
General:
FREE CAMERA allows you to have camera sticked to viewing another angle and won't auto-revert back to behind your character
Boon tooltips improved
Mystic forge able to consume unwanted random PvP rewards and produce specific pieces that you are looking for
Stomping animations added to normal stomp from items that come from PvP glory chests, animation consumables are different for every rank
The escape key (by default) can now clear targets and cancel attacks
Food buffs are no longer removed on death
Players can now preview weapons! Right-click, preview.
Camera zoom distance has slightly increased
There is now an "Over the shoulder" mode when the camera is zoomed in far enough
Added /sh and /shout as synonyms of /map
Increased skill unlock rate!

General Gameplay Changes
Reduced trait refund costs.
Repair Costs are now based on item rarity and item level instead of player level
Increased the time it takes to revive a defeated player while in combat.
Updated skill unlock rate.
Dynamic Leveling now only kicks in when players are more than 1 level over the intended level for that area, characters will be adjusted to the level of the area + 1
Pet AI improved
The Bank and Collection tabs can now be accessed by all crafting stations.
You can now deposit all collectibles from the inventory options menu in the top right of your inventory.
Activities
New Activity: Keg Brawl Keg Brawl is an instanced sport located in Hoelbrak, with up to 5 players per team. At the end of a match the teams are shuffled and a new one begins automatically. Objective: Be the first team to retrieve 11 kegs and bring them back to your Ale Collector, or have scored the most kegs by the end of 15 minutes. Features:
Players have a unique set of skills in the activity that are all centered around moving the keg and smashing each other.
Players can gain stats for the various techniques players need to use to win the game. These stats contribute towards a new achievement category, and ultimately, a title!
Guild Updates
New guilds now cost 1 silver and start with a membership cap of 50.
Guild membership cap can be increased 5 times up to a limit of 500 by speaking to a Guild Registrar and meeting representation requirements.
Guild upgrades have been reorganized. Early tiers now have more localized benefits and are more social targeted.
